For five consecutive days, Apero Mekunu took its message directly to the people, moving dynamically across all 11 Local Government Areas in Ibadan. The goal was clear and urgent: to remind citizens that staying informed and actively participating in discussions about the state of our nation is not optional it is essential.
From bustling markets to vibrant community hubs, from youth clusters to busy business districts, the rally was more than just a parade; it was a powerful movement of awareness and engagement. Our team connected with residents face-to-face, shared informative flyers, sparked meaningful conversations, and personally invited thousands of citizens to tune in weekly to our radio programs. These programs are designed to critically discuss governance, leadership, the economy, youth development, and the future of our country giving citizens a platform to reflect, question, and engage.
Across all 11 local governments, the energy and enthusiasm were palpable. Community members welcomed the dialogue with open arms. Young people asked thoughtful questions. Traders shared the challenges they face daily. Elders expressed hope and a desire for progress. It was a reminder that people not only want to be heard they also seek credible platforms that help them understand the complex realities shaping our nation.
This is precisely why Apero Mekunu exists: to bridge the gap between citizens and the information they need, to foster informed conversations, and to empower everyone to actively participate in shaping the future of Nigeria. The rally was a testament to the power of connection, the value of dialogue, and the unwavering commitment of Apero Mekunu to serve as a trusted platform for awareness, education, and engagement.
